Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home Art Gallery

I have several photos in the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home Art Exhibit. They will be there till January 31, 2019. It is open to the public in the E-wing Assisted Living Dining Hallway.

The gallery is located at 29449 Charlotte Hall Rd, Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Hours are: Monday-Sunday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm with meal time (high traffic) around 7:30 am, 11:30 am, and 4:30 pm. Please follow the signs for the “D-Wing/State Office” entrance around back.

Wet Dog August 8, 2018

The St. Mary's County Camera Club had a themed contest this month called Wet.  Our dog, Sarita needed a bath.  She is a toy poodle rescue.  It only made sense to combine the two.  The results were adorable and she won first place!

Southern Maryland Balloon Festival July 14, 2018

Jim and I went to the balloon festival at Jefferson Patterson Park.  There were nice fireworks.  Last year, we at least saw the balloons.  The Festival was rather disappointing for us.  We left a little late, got in a huge traffic jam and spent nearly 2 hours just using the bathroom and getting dinner.  I didn't even get a balloon photo!!!!  The walk-in balloon closed during dinner.  The balloon glow was cancelled because of wind, so they let the visitors play with the gas jets, creating a candlelight effect.
