Sunflowers 2

I love red sunflowers, since they are less common.  To cheer you up in the winter.

Soaking up the sun!

Bufflehead Portrait

I photographed a local Bufflehead in a pond for my friend who wanted a memory of this cute visitor.  This one looked black and white until I put it on my computer.  Now you can see the subtle reds and greens in their feathers.  I love to watch them bobbing in and out of the water when they have their meals.  They are only 13-16 inches long and are one of the smallest ducks.

Annie's Restaurant December 28, 2019

As part of our romantic trip to Rehoboth Beach DE, we stopped at Annie's Restaurant in Kent Narrows on the return trip to enjoy a meal and their gorgeous holiday decorations.  Jim knows I like mermaids, and the restaurant has a large collection of mermaid ornaments.  I highly recommend the restaurant.  The food is good (too much though), the service is good and the ambience is very nice.

Upside down trees were hanging from the ceiling.

Sun Conure at Boardwalk Plaza Hotel December 26-28, 2019

Emro, a colorful Sun Conure, was a very popular bird in the lobby of the Boardwalk Plaza hotel in Rehoboth Beach.  He loved Jim, as most animals do, and just tolerated me, although he was willing to walk up my arm.  He enjoyed sitting on the computer terminals at the front desk and meeting the guests.

Dog friends in Rehoboth Beach

These were all dogs I met on Rehoboth Avenue a few blocks from the beach.  Here are Sampson and Delilah, Bishons.  I loved their sweaters.

Ouzo, A white retriever had lots of energy

Kona is a one year old Sheepadoodle

Shih Tzu in a holiday sweater

This dog might have some poodle in it, with all that curly hair

"How much is that doggie in the window?"  I couldn't resist!  Literally sitting on a beach chair in the window and I didn't have a polarizing filter to take out the reflection.
