River Concert July 22, 2017 at St. Mary's College of Maryland

A brief performance of the River Concert was featured on July 22nd at St. Mary's College of Maryland.  The weather was very uncooperative, with a large band of thunderstorms.  After a downpour, I was seated with a crowd of attendees right beneath the orchestra shell to avoid the rain and couldn't easily move, so I photographed what I could get.

The concert featured the Southern Maryland Gospel Choir, the young  James singers,  "I Got Rhythm" played by Jeffrey Chappell, Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag" by the Chesapeake Orchestra and a few words by Natii Wright before the concert was cancelled.    I apologize for not getting a full photo of the choir and their musicians, as I normally would.

Unfortunately, my view of most of the gospel choir was blocked, so I photographed what I could.
