After the
rained out concert on June 22nd, the Chesapeake Orchestra began their annual
series last Friday at 7 PM at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
It was humid
and sunny and the expected crowd showed up to hear the patriotic music composed
by Sousa and Tchaikovsky, as well as famous pieces by Leonard Bernstein (West
Side Story) and of course, followed by fireworks.
