The third concert featured Sheryl-Marie Dunaway's Ballet Caliente at 7 pm on the green at St. Mary's College of Maryland. They performed some music of Bizet, Arvo Part and others. Enjoy some rehearsal photos.
On July 2, I photographed the River Concert rehearsal at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Jeffrey Chappell and the Chesapeake Orchestra played a glorious rendition of "Rhapsody in Blue". Jeffrey's jazz quartet Otherworld played some of their own compositions.
Weather permitting, the Chesapeake Orchestra (music director Jeffrey Silberschlag) and Ballet Caliente (director Sheryl-Marie Dunaway) will perform tonight on the green at St. Mary's College of Maryland as Summer Dance.
