Landmark Iconic American Views Exhibit at Annmarie Garden

Annmarie Garden kindly made up some artwork graphics for the artists with art in the Landmark exhibit.  It is upstairs in the main building.  I have two other photos upstairs till September 20th and a sunset photo downstairs till August 23rd.

My sunset photo is from the Slave memorial at St. Mary's College of Maryland.  It is quite an interesting and unusual exhibit, even lit at night.  It represents that the land at St. Mary's College of Maryland was originally a home for quite a few slaves.  Evidence of a slave quarters was discovered during some archeaological exploration and this creative exhibit was built to commemorate the people that lived there.   It is very thought provoking and used erasure poetry to tell a story.

Annmarie Garden Wingin' It Art Exhibit is still up till August 23rd

My sunset goose photo is still up in the downstairs gallery till August 23rd.  I also have three photos in the longer lasting upstairs exhibit, Landmark.  To be nice to my fellow artists, I wanted to share the Wingin' It digital booklet featuring all the art works on exhibit.   You can see the winning art too. (My photo is on page 81)
