Annapolis Dock Street in Winter

We went to Annapolis for an annual check up and spent the late afternoon by the docks.  Here is an assortment of images that I enjoyed.  The docks are usually full of boats in the warm weather months.

I liked how the Market house sign "pointed" toward the docks.

Some students were taking sailing lessons in the river and the sails briefly reflected on calmer water.

Near sunset, I noticed how the buildings were reflecting on a ...

black car.  The driver asked us what we were looking at and understood after I showed her the photo.

As the sky turned pink and twilight blue was taking over, I snapped this image of a branch on a nearby tree.  I looked upward so you can't see that the branch was surrounded by city buildings.

Annapolis, An Unexpected Visit

When a boat with trailer we purchased, was suddenly unsafe (smoking wheel bearing on one side of the trailer, tire and rim fell off on the other side), we ended up in Annapolis for the weekend.  We took the last room at the Navy Lodge and spent the day at Dock Street and Quiet Waters Park (to entertain our pet poodle).

Around Dock street, we met many dogs on the street and by the Federal House Bar and Grill.

Quiet waters has a shady off leash fenced park, where we met young Soka happily digging a hole.

Then we visited the park dog beach near sunset.
