Blessing of the Pets October 7, 2018

Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Mary's City, MD had a blessing of the Pets on Sunday.  It is usually an annual event and the pastor, John Ball, is very gentle with the animals.  Here are my favorite pet only photos.

Church Point Restoration

This post was so popular on Facebook that I thought I should share it on my blog as well.

Recently, work was completed at Church Point in St. Mary's City, MD to protect the large cross and stop the erosion from reducing the shoreline.    Many people both from Trinity Episcopal Church and elsewhere, assisted in reaching this goal.  A grant was written, workers hired, politicians, businesses and students helped.

Recently,  sea grass was planted there by volunteers, including hundreds of St. Mary's College of MD students.

Church Point is on the property of Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Mary's City, MD and has long been popular for fishing, picnicing and walking.
