I am still photographing spring flowers as we get new plants opening up for the year, especially pink ones. Enjoy them while they are around!

I spent Saturday driving around looking for some pretty flowers before the expected rain on Easter Sunday. This year has been fairly windy, but I caught a few flowers at least.
There were a lot of flowering trees blooming when we visited, including a large quantity of redbud trees. Even a weeping redbud! The azaleas were just barely starting to bloom. (more azaleas later!)
Here are more cherry blossoms to enjoy. I get a second chance at photographing them because the weeping cherry trees in my own yard bloom a lot later than the trees in Lexington Park and elsewhere. The first photo is a stacked photo to improve the sharpness of the image, taken in a Lexington Park parking lot. Notice how much more impact the photo with just a blue sky makes than the others with blurred backgrounds.
