I keep going back to Zimmerman's Produce north of Leonardtown, when I am in the area. They have a wonderful selection of flowers, art, local Amish garden supplies, produce, backed goods, lawn art, chairs and more. There is always a lot to see. These photos were taken in June and October In the fall, there are quite a few pumpkins to pick from. The year I first discovered them, I had to buy pumpkins just to use them to make still lifes in colors like blue-grey, yellow, peach and white. I never knew pumpkins were another color than orange, but now I find them all over.
Be sure you bring cash or check, because they don't take credit cards. They are always pleasant when I visit and are willing to answer my questions or help me find something. Give yourself some time to visit and explore because there are several greenhouses, the store and plants in the back and side of the building.
