Poppies Galore!

I visited the local poppy field three times this year. It was spectacular and got prettier each time I visited. We are having some drought conditions, so it probably took a lot of work to keep them looking nice.

Beautiful Poppies

I visited a poppy field in May and June. They are delicate flowers and don't last long in a vase, but they are so artistic to photograph with lots of unusual curves. I suspect they are at their best early in the morning, but these were late afternoon photos.
