Nest visitors 2021


I am wondering if these are the geese who lived on the osprey nest last year.  Probably not.   They looked quite cozy.  They were with a flock and didn’t stay.  Other geese have visited as well as eagles.  (The osprey arrive from the south around mid-March.)

Lens Reflection


I was photographing circles, so I used my phone to photograph the pink chandelier reflection in my camera lens.  The reflection is blue because of the lens coatings.  Jim had to explain it to me.

Clazzical Jazz Project concert featured Dr. Mark Runkles, Don, Tom Teasley, Fred Lieder, Peter Fields 

Don Stapleson, talented flute and saxophone player in the Chesapeake Orchestra, acquaintance, man of quirky humor, jazz instructor at St. Mary's College of Maryland lost his battle with cancer 1/31/21.  He always seemed kind and loved to laugh.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
