Southern Maryland Boat Club Summer Regatta 8-8-15

Here are my best photos of the 1st Southern Maryland Boat Club Summer Regatta at Leonardtown Wharf in MD on Saturday August 8th, 2015.  There were races by antique boats at least 30 years old using the black flag (no awards), from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.  The show also included static antique boat displays and food by Kevin's Corner Kafe.  The event was sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association.  Many of the drivers won races years ago.  Joe Norris was the emcee.  To learn more about the club visit http://www.southernmarylandboatclub.com

We displayed Jim's boat in the static displays and quite a few visitors looked it over.  It's a nice looking 1985 Centurion ski boat that is still a work in progress.
