Sunset with a Fun Filter

There was another nice sunset in January that I liked across the creek.  I tried a fairly new filter I got for a birthday gift that adds some magenta to the photo.  I liked them as silhouettes.

A Sotterley Plantation Visit

We went to DC to go to the National Botanic Garden on Thursday, but couldn't find a parking space.  So after driving around a while, we went out for lunch at Tequila Grill in Charlotte Hall and visited Sotterley Plantation instead.

I discovered that the corn crib was renovated, so instead of looking like this in 2009 or so

It now looks like this
     Much more up to date, but less artistic.

Here is another interesting corn crib photo of an oyster basket.


The gardens had lots of blooming daffodils.


And this bell made a nice silhouette in the late afternoon sunlight.
