Emro, a colorful Sun Conure, was a very popular bird in the lobby of the Boardwalk Plaza hotel in Rehoboth Beach. He loved Jim, as most animals do, and just tolerated me, although he was willing to walk up my arm. He enjoyed sitting on the computer terminals at the front desk and meeting the guests.

Dog friends in Rehoboth Beach
These were all dogs I met on Rehoboth Avenue a few blocks from the beach. Here are Sampson and Delilah, Bishons. I loved their sweaters.
Ouzo, A white retriever had lots of energy
Kona is a one year old Sheepadoodle
Shih Tzu in a holiday sweater
This dog might have some poodle in it, with all that curly hair
"How much is that doggie in the window?" I couldn't resist! Literally sitting on a beach chair in the window and I didn't have a polarizing filter to take out the reflection.

Rehoboth Beach and the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel Dec 26-28, 2019
Jim took me for a romantic trip to a surprise place right after the holiday, the Boardwalk Plaza in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Beautiful place and the weather was pleasant too. I would recommend visiting only during the off season.

There were lots of little Christmas village decorations embedded in a "tree".

A nativity scene sat on a mantel in Victoria's restaurant.

Annmarie Garden in Lights Dec 22, 21019
Annmarie Garden in Lights is spectacular this year. Well worth the visit if you are properly dressed for the weather.
Winter scene
Clever shadow area with several lights shining on white boards.
These jellyfish were made of recycled plastic, even bubble wrap.
Don't forget to see the When Darkness Falls exhibit upstairs to see my ghost and fireworks photos!
